Dr Adekunle said although, their demands were yet to be acceded to by the state government, the intervention of the speaker of the state Assembly, Hon. Najeem Salaam, and some medical elders in the state helped in shaping their decision to call off the strike.
While noting that the association would continue to dialogue with the government, Dr Adekunle appealed to the state government to keep to its promises by not victimising the members who participated in the strike.
Meanwhile, visit  to the state hospital management ‎ board, Asubiaro Osogbo, showed  that activities have started picking up , as doctors were seen reporting for duty.
