Osun Information Chapel Gets New Executive
Leadership has been described as a platform of responsibility coupled with efficiency and diligence for better
service.
The Chairman, Osun Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr. Abiodun Olalere made this known at the inauguration of the newly sworn-in executive of Information Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists held at the Ministry’s headquarters at the New Secretariat.
Mr. Olalere told the newly sworn-in executive to be steadfast, loyal and dedicated and that, they should strive and work hard in hand with the State executive so as to take the union to a higher pedestal.
He also announced Mr. Bashiru Seriki as a member of Disciplinary Committee of the Union in the state.
The Co-ordinating Director, Ministry of Information, Home Affairs, Tourism and Culture, Mrs Femi Webster- Esho in her remarks congratulated the new executive and advised them to be efficient in the discharge of their duties and that they should support each other, because there is strength in unity.
Similarly, a Director in the Ministry, who is also a leader of the union, Mr. Bunmi Oladele admonished the new executive to take advantage of the opportunity giving them to serve the union by contributing their quota to the development of the union.
In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of the State Information Chapel, Comrade Gideon Adegboye emphasized on the strength of the union through support, patriotism, commitment and absolute dedication.
He appreciated the management of the Ministry of Information and the Directors of the ministry as well as all the
members of the union for their unflinching support.
Highlights of the inauguration ceremony was the handing-over from the former executive while the new members took the oath of office.
