The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with the paramount ruler of Iwoland, HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on the 8th anniversary of his ascension to the stool of his forebear.

Governor Adeleke acknowledges Oba Akanbi’s passionate commitment to the growth and development of his domain, noting that his bold ideas and tenacity has inspired admirable progress in the ancient town over the years.

The Governor commends Oba Akanbi for his blunt and constructive contributions to topical discussions on nation building, hailing him for his open door policy, which has fostered harmony and peaceful atmosphere in the town and neighbours while encouraging investments.

“I rejoices with the HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on the 8th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of the ancient town of Iwo. Oba Akanbi is a monarch that exemplifies duty and inspires dedication to the service of the people,” the congratulatory message noted.

“In the time he has ascended the throne, Iwo has taken the shape for the better, experiencing a remarkable difference in government presence and an uplift in economic indices.
