GOVERNOR ADELEKE FELICITATES MEDIA MAGNATE, NDUKA OBAIGBENA, ON BIRTHDAY

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the Publisher of ThisDay Newspaper and Chairman of AriseTV, Chief Nduka Obaigbena, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, commending him for the frontline role he is playing in keeping Nigerians informed and a voice to reckon with.

Governor Adeleke eulogizes Chief Obaigbena for the profound faith in Nigeria as reflective through years of investments in Arise TV and ThisDay newspaper, noting that his strategic investments in the media sector has redefined the course of journalism not just in Nigeria but the entire Africa continent.

While applauding the celebrant for taking journalism in Nigeria to the next level, Governor Adeleke observed that Chief Obaigbena’s innovative spirit, entrepreneurial acumen, and unwavering commitment to excellence have set new standards in the journalism field.

“I congratulate a trailblazer, Chief Nduka Obaigbena, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday. Chief Obaigbena is a typical example of how much impact dedication can have, going by his extraordinary contributions to the field of journalism,” Governor Adeleke was quoted to have said in a congratulatory message.

“Through consistent investments, Chief Obaigbena nurtures Arise TV and ThisDay newspaper to the topmost level, serving as platforms for diverse voices and fostering a more informed and engaged society.”

Governor Adeleke expresses his heartfelt wishes to the media magnate as he marks a new age, noting that this moment offers an opportunity to salute Chief Obaigbena’s vision and leadership strength, which have “not only transformed the media landscape in Nigeria but have also positively influenced better informed citizens by promoting transparency and accountability.”
