Governor Adeleke Greets Former Deputy Governor, Otunba Omisore On His Birthday

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated a former deputy Governor in the state, Otunba Iyiola Ajani Omisore, on the occasion of his birthday, eulogizing him as a politician with difference and purpose.

Governor notes with relish the chord that Otunba Omisore strike with the people through the daring interest in their welfare despite the personal cost, describing the former Senator as a powerful reminder that the key to continuous relevance in the political space is putting the people first.

The Governor lauds the Ife-born politician for reflecting the essence of politics, which is to serve the people, noting that the former national scribe All Progressives Congress (APC) incredible exploits in the field of engineering not only showed his unshakeable resolve to impact lives, but also honour Osun as a state.

“On this auspicious occasion of his birthday, I join friends, family and well-wishers to congratulate an astute politician, His Excellency, Otunba Iyiola Ajani Omisore. No matter your opinion about him, one thing that no one can take away from Otunba Omisore is the fact he ensures that whatever is entrusted to him is done well,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in his congratulatory note.

“As a Deputy Governor, Otunba Omisore championed efforts that promises a better situation for the people, most especially workers, counting for the goodwill and the support he enjoys from that segment of the society.

“In the Senate, Otunba Omisore initiatived legislations that benefits the public, while his lobbying efforts created openings for countless constituents in different federal establishments just as his interventions provided life-changing infrastructures for a lot of communities.”

Governor Adeleke prays for Otunba Omisore to continue to enjoy the unfailing grace of God that has steered him up to this point while urging him to take the moment of his birthday to “reflect on his accomplishments and the expectations of the people for the future.”
