Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State notes with excitement the confirmation of Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi as the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service by President Bola Tinubu, hailing the decision as perfect and offers promising direction for the outfit.

The Governor appreciates President Tinubu for recognizing the capability of Mr. Bashir to drive his agenda in the paramilitary outfit, saying his confirmation is a bold assertion of the President’s commitment to redirect Customs for more efficiency and productivity.

He congratulates Mr. Bashir for the deserving progress in his career, noting that his confirmation is a reward for years of dedication, competence, and pronounced commitment to public service.

“On behalf of the good people of Osun State, I heartily rejoice with a distinguished professional, Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on his confirmation as the Comptroller-General of Customs by President Bola Tinubu,” the Governor was quoted as saying in a congratulatory note.

Governor Ademola Adeleke extends heartfelt condolences to the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Morruf Dele Ayofe over the death of his beloved father, Alhaji Wahab Ayofe.

Governor Adeleke expresses the devastating impact of Baba’s loss, noting that as someone who have watched him close for decades, it is hard to quantify the pain his demise has wrought on family and loved ones.

He conveys his heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Hon. Ayofe and everyone impacted by Alhaji Ayofe’s passing, urging them to sustain his legacy of good deeds and the values that defined his life.

The Governor assures the deceased’s family of his support in this moment of grief and pains, adding that “I offer you my prayers and hope that God gives everyone left behind the strength to accept the weight of the irreplaceable void that his exit has created.”

“Please, accept my condolences and it is my prayer that Almighty Allah in His infinite grace repose his soul and grant Alhaji Ayofe an abode in Aljanah Fridaos.”

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday congratulated HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, on the auspicious occasion of his 49th year birthday, eulogizing him as a foremost traditional ruler in the promotion of culture and heritage.

The congratulatory message, which was contained in a statement signed by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, described Oba Ogunwusi as a symbolic leader, given his remarkable efforts towards the preservation of Yoruba ideals and culture.

Governor Adeleke extols the humble carriage of the Arole Oduduwa and pronounced commitment to the unity of the Yoruba race, expressing his admiration for the monarch’s style of leadership, which embodies strong emphasis on the well-being and prosperity of the people.

Former President Olisegun Obasanjo has called on elected leaders at all levels of government to recommit to good governance to entrench democracy. Speaking while hosting Governor Ademola Adeleke at his Abeokuta Hilltop home, Obasanjo cautioned leaders to be loyal to the people by meeting and satisfying their people.” What is my advice to leaders? Governor Ademola Adeleke is extremely pleased to rejoice with four legal practitioners of Osun state extraction who were conferred with the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) , describing their elevation as a thing of pride and joy for the state.

In a congratulatory message signed by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke extolled Messrs Kazeem Adekunle Sobaloju, Bamidele Olawoye, Adedayo Samuel Adedeji and Yemi Adewale Mu’sbaudeen Adesina as exceptional professionals who have distinguished themselves in the legal field, noting that their promotion to the SAN title is a true reflection of their capacities.

While attributing their achievements to hard-work, perseverance and unwavering commitment to excellence, the Governor said their progress have not only reflected positively on the state, but also serves as a source of inspiration to young people that excellence will not go unrewarded.

Apparently satisfied and impressed by his friendly disposition and genuine concerns to their welfare since he came on board the governance of Osun state almost a year ago,the entire body of senior citizens in Osun state under the umbrella of Nigeria Union of Pensioners( NUP) has passed a vote of confidence on the Governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke . In a unanimous decision at a programme to commemorate International Day of The Elderly ,held at St Marks Grammar School ,Osogbo on Thursday,the Pensioners,accordingly conferred the award of the most pensioner friendly governor In Osun state on Senator Ademola Adeleke. A statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, in respect of the award ,was said to have been premised on the fact that ,since Governor Adeleke mounted the mantle of leadership as the 6th democratically elected governor of Osun state, Pensioners in the state have never had it so good and rewarding the way things have turned out to be for them in the last one year. Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State is deeply shaken to learn about the demise of the Caretaker Chairman of Ede North Local Government, Alhaji Jimoh Oyekanmi.The sudden death of Alhaji Oyekanmi is devastating, not just to his family, but also Osun state, particularly Ede North Local Government, who have been denied the service of trusted hand in delivering good governance.Alhaji Jimoh was a politician with a purpose, always prioritizing the good of all above his personal interest in every situation. During the struggle for the enthronement of the Imole government, Alhaji Jimoh showed discipline and unimaginable sacrifices.Alhaji Jimoh was a long-time member of the Adeleke political dynasty, but he was much more than that to me. He was loyal to a fault and more, reliable, no matter the circumstances. Alhaji Jimoh impact on Osun politics, particularly in Ede North, where he was a strong grassroot mobilizer for our great party, the PDP, is hard to miss.
