Governor Ademola Adeleke extends heartfelt condolences to the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyeyosin, over the death of Olori Ruth Monilade Asunke Oyeyode, who died on September 14, 2024.
Governor Adeleke notes Olori Oyeyosin passing as a profoundly difficult pain to bear, not just for the Palace, but the entire Ejigbo land who will sorely miss her motherly love and the strength she offers to the people.
The Governor expresses heartfelt condolences to HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyeyosin, the Ejigbo palace, and the entire Ejigbo land, and everyone touched by this painful experience, urging to draw strength in the fact that Olori Oyeyosin touched the lives of the people in her lifetime.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Osun State, I offer heartfelt condolences to HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyeyosin and the people of Ejigbo land on the passing of Olori Oyeyosin. While the pain of losing a beloved one is hard to imagine, not to talk of a Wife and Mother, I hope that Kabiesi and everyone touched by Olori Oyeyosin’s passing will find comfort in the cherished memories of her support and love for her people,” Governor Adeleke was quoted to have said in a condolence message.
“It is my prayer that Almighty Allah be pleased with her soul and grant her abode in Aljanah Fridaos. May God strengthen Kabiesi, the palace and her loved ones to sustain the legacy of good deeds that defined Olori Oyeyosin while she was alive.”
