It is with a heavy heart that I address you all today on the Ifon -Ilobu crisis. I am really sad that all efforts so far to permanently resolve the feud has not yielded deduced results.

Concerned about the incessant land disputes between the communities of Ifon, Ilobu and Erin Osun, the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has constituted an enlarged 100 member High Powered Land Crisis Resolution Committee with each of the affected communities of Ifon, Ilobu and Erin having 25 representatives each while the state Government will equally be represented by 25 members. The Ataoja of Osogbo land, Oba Jimoh Adetunji Olanipekun Larooye as the Chairman of the Committee.
