Hon. Yakubu Moshood Adejare, a fine gentleman and a thorough bred grassroots

politician and mobiliser is a proud indigene of Ifon-Osun in Orolu Local Government Area of Osun State.

Hon. Adejare, a loving husband and father began his illustrious academic pursuit at St.

John’s Primary School, Ifon -Osun between 1975 and 1980 for his Primary School Certificate. He then proceeded to Ifon Erin Community High School, Ifon-Osun between 1980 and 1986 where he obtained his Senior School Certificate.

The highly cerebral Hon. Adejare got admission into the Premier University (the University of Ibadan) in the year 1990 where he studied Philosophy/Political Science and graduated in 1995. Without looking back, he went back to the University of Ibadan for his Master’s degree programme between 1996 and 1997.

The brilliant Hon. Yakubu Moshood Adejare has researched into a lot of topics, some of which include: Critical appraisal of Argument between Hylas and Philonous, Democratic Transition in Nigeria between 1980 and 1996, Comparative. Federalism and Nigeria Experience, The concept of Power and Influence within Nigeria political context.

For his work experience, apart from his NYSC Programme which he had at Iddo Local Government Secretariat, Ibadan in 1995, Honourable Adejare was at a time the MD/CEO ONFADEX Global Concept (Yoghurt production and sales) and also at some point, the MD CEO YASIMA Nigeria Enterprises (Farming, production and sales of cassava flour and Gaari. This grassroots politician was the Executive Chairman, Orolu Local Government, Ifon-Osun between 2003 and 2007. He was a member of the OSBC Board between 2008 and 2010. In 2010, he was PDP Local Government Chairmanship flag bearer and has served as member of several committees within the PDP.

Hon, Yakubu Moshood Adejare who loves reading and watching football is currently the Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Transportation (cabinet ranked).
