Moruf Agboola Olawale was born on the 23rd of January, 1968, in Osogbo Local Government Area, Osun State. He is married and hails from Osun State, Nigeria. Over the years, he has demonstrated a commitment to personal growth and public service, reflected in his educational and professional achievements.

Mr. Olawale began his academic journey at N.U.D Primary School, where he obtained his Primary School Leaving Certificate in 1978. He proceeded to Osogbo Grammar School and graduated with his Secondary School Leaving Certificate in 1984. Following this, he attended Oyo State College of Arts and Science from 1986 to 1989, earning his Advanced Level Certificate. For his higher education, he enrolled at the University of Ilorin, where he completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in 1995 and later returned to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree between 2017 and 2019.

His professional career commenced on the 26th of October, 1998, when he was appointed as an Administrative Officer II on Grade Level 08, Step 02, in the state service. Over the years, his dedication and competence have seen him rise through the ranks. On the 30th of May, 2023, he attained the position of Permanent Secretary on a special grade level, marking a significant milestone in his public service career.
