Rufus Olalekan Adesina, born on the 24th of December, 1966, hails from Irepodun Local Government Area in Osun State. He is a seasoned professional in planning, research, and agricultural services, demonstrating excellence throughout his career.

Education:
Mr. Adesina started his academic journey at Ayodele Memorial Primary School, completing in 1976. He pursued his secondary education at Ifon/Erin Community High School and graduated in 1981. His tertiary education began at Obafemi Awolowo University, where he earned his first degree in 1991. He further advanced his knowledge by obtaining a second degree in 2005 from the same institution.

Professional Journey:
Mr. Adesina began his career on the 19th of May, 1993, as an Agric. Officer II on Grade Level 08, Step 02, under the Local Government Service. His dedication and expertise earned him a secondment to the State Service (Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security) on the 16th of March, 2016.

Currently, he serves as the Director of Planning, Research & Statistics, a prestigious position he attained on the 1st of January, 2019, on Grade Level 17. His role underscores his strategic vision and commitment to enhancing the agricultural sector in Osun State.
